High School reunions…to go or not to go?

That is my question.

School reunions have been on my mind a bit lately. I have my *coughtwentiethyearcough* coming up. And, I’m wondering how other people feel about attending? Do the majority of those invited attend? Is it loads of fun catching up with people you haven’t spoken to in twenty years?

I considered attending my tenth, but thankfully my dearest friend Dana drove over from Iowa that weekend and I never made it to the party. ;)

See, looking back I can’t say school days were the most joyous time of my life. Oh, I’m sure I enjoyed the time more than others. My sister hated school. All the guys were always teasing, or hitting on her because of her enormous boobs. Girls disliked her for the same reason. I felt so bad for Sissy.

I’ve always made the most out of any situation, and luckily made friends easily. I could easily laugh at myself. But I was blind until I was twenty-two and everyone knows how unkind children, even teens can be. Mercy…I can still remember when Tim Shipley defended me in 8th grade! I was sure I was going to marry him, but he had to go and move away…

I’m one of the lucky ones I’m still good friends with my high school bestest friend. Only Ang lives in Maine and I only get to see her a time or two a year.

So, tell me do high school reunions get your endorsement? Is it only the school jocks who go to reminisce? Or, did you not bother to go?

Until later~

Good news:

My dad had his appointment today. And we've learned the MRI shows dad's brain tumor is stable.

This is wonderful news! At this point, we don't know if the radiation and chemo has killed the cells or, just sent the tumor into remission, but for's good news.

Dad has several more months of maintenance chemo and goes back for another MRI in three months time.

Thanks for all the positive thoughts and prayers. I've appreciate them all. The e-mails, too. :)

Until later~
