A nice Sunday surprise!

Torc's Salvation received a recommended read from Fallen Angels review.

“This is a story that as a reader I felt the highs and lows of this couple—the frustration of Torc trying to teach Ailyea to be self sufficient and of her trying to get him to understand she wanted him as much as he wanted her. I was there watching the shape shifters trying to stop the slavers and wanting to help them. The reader will be pulled into Ms. Logen’s story and not want to leave when that last page is turned. I hope she’ll give us more of this future worlds as the secondary characters deserve their own stories and the readers will want them. Torc’s Salvation is a book that any reader that loves a good futuristic story that will keep them turning the page will want on their keeper shelf. I highly recommend it to one and all. “

I was very surprised to see Torc's Salvation a 10/06 release reviewed! Totally thrilled but surprised! Torc's Salvation has continues to find new readers each month. But I wonder if this review came about from the Torc Salvation bookmarks that were given out at RT? The Torc Salvation bookmarks have always been a big hit! I’ve heard more than once that it’s a keeper. ;)

Btw, again let me give a shout-out Ailyea is one of my all time favorite heroines. Mechele/Lany did a truly amazing job on her characterization. :)

As I’ve *cough*whined*cough* …err…mentioned I’m still figuring out Google Alerts. But look what popped up while I was at RT. Sigh. Yes, I’m still going through my mailbox. I’m still no mail on my groups and at this point not sure when I’ll get back to them.

I’ve also had sites in other countries pick up Dark Sentinel’s video. For me videos have promoted my stories in my place. Yes, I’m a busy woman. With five children? Well, four children. Nugget’s my grandbaby who lives with us. So how can I be anything but busy?

Besides YouTube and a few communities like MySpace I belong to-- my story videos are posted on a half dozen other video sites. So they're spread out in cyberspace.

Another aspect to story videos is they give readers another reason to hang out on your website. Traffic and returning readers is key for authors.

My weekend.

My laundry was actually nearly ALL done. Sigh. It seems to have exploded again.

I'm happy to announce Dark Chance has gone through FLEs. I'm sending Lindsey my Samhain editor kudos! She's so fabulous!

OH, I received a positive note from Roberta this afternoon. She really liked the proposal I sent her a few days ago. :) *Fingers crossed*

Productivity: I've been writing on two projects.

A Knight's Risk. (A Netherworld novel)

Self imposed deadline of July 1st.

True Blue Love (An Aussie tale.)

Self imposed deadline of September 1st

I gave two chapters of Law's Deliverance creative touch-ups. I also set to work on cleaning Max's story up. This one's an old project. Just sent the material over to Mechele for her to use her whip to help beat it into shape. Mercy...lots of work to do on it. The story is going to really change (I'm guessing by 50%) from the original draft.

I shuffled some things around. This week I'd like to go through at least five more chapters of LD. Write my Lukewarm Psychic chapter so I can pass it onto Mo/Mari.

Lastly, I still need to finish my two synopses. And write the final chapter for Roberta.

Goal: 8K of new word count by Saturday.

Btw, I've got a bad cold and can't stop coughing. Sigh.

Until later~
