Babies in romances:

Pregnancy (for some) is a natural course of life. You know "first comes kissing, second comes marriage, and then comes a baby in a baby carriage." ;)

Keeping it real. I don't mind talk of pregnancy or of contraception in romances. Condoms. Withdrawal. Whatever works for the setting and characters. Even accidental pregnancy has been done very well in a dozen romances I've read. My twins were accidents. I had no clue the pill didn't work if you were on antibotics. Live and learn. :)

I've been reading romance some 20 years and (done well) I don't mind babies, children, or even teens in a story. As a writer I always go with whatever the characters demand.

What's your opinion? Do you like the mention of pregnancy in romances? Babies in epilogs? Does it turn you off to the story or the characters?

Until later~
